Congratulations! To all of our juniors and campers who have improved and worked their way up and to the Williamsport girls who went undefeated in league play and won district 2-4 singles (Raneem Rajjoub) and doubles (Tequia Lee and Caitlin Clemens). For Williamsport, this will be their 4th league championship and 4th district title. Williamsport coaches John Dorner and Leroy Baier attribute their success to their off season training here at the club. Congratulations to Maria Cioffi for winning the finals of the District 4 Class AA singles championship at Bloomsburg University. Maria is a club member and has taken lessons from John Dorner, her coach Dave Rovenolt and also attended our summer camp at Mansfield University. We wish her luck at the PIAA Championships at Hershey on November 6-7. Congratulations to Loyalsock and Montgomery for their co-championship in their league. Congratulations to the Loyalsock Lancer girls team for winning the District 4 Class AA Team Tennis Championship, and also to Kaitlyn Pellegrino and Cassie Beck for winning the District 4 Class AA doubles championship. Kaitlyn and Cassie have taken lessons at the club over the years, as have some of the other players on the team. It is nice to see the hard work over the years payoff!

West Branch Tennis Club will have a winter league for any school who wants to participate.

Winter Hours (Sept - April): Monday - Friday, 9:00 AM - 10:00 PM, Saturday and Sunday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM.

Getting involved at West Branch Tennis is easy. We are very friendly people. From owners Laurie and Steve Wilson to every part time associate, we are anxious to make sure that you get a good look at West Branch Tennis and get started in tennis programs with people you like. We have a friendly, informal club atmosphere. We are not a country club. We are happy to welcome new members and new people to town who are looking for a venue to get exercise, play tennis, meet new people and have a good time.

Call us or just stop in. We will show you around and give you an idea of what we are about.

You can get started in a weekly league of compatible players, play in some of our informal programs such as men’s doubles on Saturdays, women’s doubles, ball machine drills with the Pro, take lessons or schedule court time to play with family members or friends. We can even find you someone to play if you are new to town. We accommodate.

Also, ask about individual or group lessons. We have taught many people to play and they are currently enjoying playing in a tennis league of their own. You are never too young or too old, and inexperience doesn’t matter! We can put you back into the game. We guarantee it.
