Lessons & Instructional Programs
 

Do you have what it takes?? We do. Our pros have had district champs for the past 10 years. They have given their students the necessary knowledge to take their game to the next level whether you are a JV player or a starter, we will improve your game.

West Branch Tennis Club offers a wide variety of instruction including private and groups, adult and junior.  Our pros are USPTR certified with years of experience.  We know how to teach tennis!  Read further to learn of private and group instruction and the dates for the next adult and junior groups clinics.
 

GROUP PROGRAMS
 
ADULT
 
We periodically offer beginner/refresher 4 week group clinics.   Each session is 1 1/2 hours and participants are taught how to play the game itself and the fundamental strokes to make playing satisfying.  The course is only $50 for the 6 hours of instructions.   Participants are often placed in beginner leagues or choose to start a group of their own from the class.  Call the club to find out when the next clinic is taking place.
 
JUNIOR
 
Junior Tennis Academy.  For beginner to advanced players, ages 9 and up.  A progressive program for various levels of play.  The program is designed to give the young player the tools necessary to enjoy a lifetime of tennis playing and to take that junior to whatever level he or she feels comfortable, whether that will be competitive high school or college play or simply to add a new facet and activity to their life.  All juniors welcome, any level of interest in tennis is compatible.  Program features 6:1 average ratio of juniors to instructors.  Instructors are USPTR certified.  Director: John Dorner - PTR Certified, Tim McClintock - USPTA Certified.  Assistants: Dave Rovenolt, Scott Burkhart, Steve Brown and Leroy Bair.  Junior group instruction on Saturday mornings.

PEE WEE

Pee Wee for ages 4 to 8.  Introduction to tennis with group.  $50 for 4 weeks. Instructor: Tim McClintock, USPTA Certified.

Lessons can be scheduled at your convenience, according to court availability.  Daytime and weekends are good times. Lessons have a 12 hour cancellation policy. If you do not cancel, you will be charged for the lesson.
